We are a small shop, servicing and selling ONLY BMW motorcycles.
Our philosophy is to do the one thing, and do it well. All of us here know
the business
and know that the customer's best interests are important.
The owners - Chris(Christine) and Ian McQueen.
We are motorcycle enthusiasts; we all ride BMW's. You can
expect us to be GONE on our bikes on any of the oh-too-few long weekends
in the summer. Also, because we ride them, we know our bikes. We tour, we take evening rides, and
we have modified and raced them. This helps us understand your needs, because
we know what BMW motorcycles can do and how they are supposed to work. Chris handles motorcycle sales and customer service.
Ian is a licensed mechanic and BMW certified Master Technician who manages and works in the service department. He is
also a licensed Professional Engineer (mechanical) who has worked in the automotive and aerospace industries.
Waiting service customers are a short walk from restaurants and parks.
You can relax or watch videos in our showroom.
We are fully equipped with BMW tools and diagnostic equipment for all models from vintage to today's latest. We carry an extensive
inventory of commonly-needed parts and receive shipments on a next-day basis from BMW Canada. We also operate a machine shop
in-house, doing our own cylinder boring and re-lining and cylinder head reconditioning. We do valve guide and seat replacements,
30-degree exhaust valve conversions, exhaust thread repair, etc. right here so that we can control the quality of the work going into
our customers' bikes. Total rebuilds of vintage twins and singles are done entirely in-house, with the exception of the roller-bearing
crankshafts. (About vintage bikes: please understand that we can only accept vintage work in the off-season months of October through
February). The Canadian Vintage Motorcycle group defines "vintage" as ten years old but we will go back fifteen.
Our new location
After fourteen years in the sleepy village of Ailsa Craig, we outgrew the old shop and moved to a main thoroughfare in London.
Here we have the space we need to better display BMW clothing and accessories and new and used bikes. We also have better customer
accomodations, and an expanded service area. We are easily accessible to Londoners and travelers from highway 401. Service
Service is the core of our business, and we are well known for it. We have customers who regularly come from us
much as 800 kilometres for service. Obviously, some special consideration is required on our part. We have
convenient evening and Saturday hours but if you need to make arrangements to drop off or pick up a bike outside
our normal hours, let us know what
you need and we'll try to help you. If you buy your motorcycle from us we will arrange service while you wait - during
the riding season we book service like a doctor's
office; you make an appointment for a certain time and we're ready to work on it right then to get you taken care of
and back on your way without delay. Loaner bikes are also available to our new motorcycle buyers on a pre-arranged basis. How about mail orders?
Of course! We can send by Canada Post (cheapest), UPS, Fed Ex or Purolator (fastest). Payment can be Visa, Mastercard, C.O.D., cheque,
whatever. Freight is on us for orders over $200. Ask for a
free catalogue.Other customer services
