The F650GS dual-sport bike, powered by a version of the acclaimed F800 engine, has won praise and awards from owners and journalists around the world. With over 70 horspower, the latest F650GS is a refined machine that will nonetheless take you anywhere you want to go: the city, the country, or any road in between. Take the F650GS on long or short rides, solo or two-up and even on mild trails. The F650GS is a worthy stablemate to the ultimate dual-sport bike, BMW's renowned R1200GS.


  seat is narrow at the front; reaching the ground is easy The strong twin-cylinder engine has impressive torque, peaking at a low 4500 rpm. Weighing only 376 pounds dry, the GS has a low centre of gravity with its under-seat fuel tank. The liquid-cooled engine, with its' unique rocker balancing mechanism, requires little maintenance. The first valve adjustment is not before 20,000 km.

BMW never ignores safety features and the F650GS is no exception with available antilock brakes and tire pressure monitoring.

As light as it is, the F650GS is easy to ride for all. Two no-cost options make it very accessible for riders with short inseams: an accessory low seat or a lowered chassis package which includes the low seat.

STANDARD AND OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT
